武当山道教学院是由湖北省道教协会主办的，由武当山道教协会承办的一所三年制道教大专学校。武当山道教学院由湖北省民族宗教委员会主管，十堰市、丹江口市民族宗教局协助管理。
武当山道教学院位于湖北省丹江口市净乐宫旁，经武当山道教协会从2004年春开始筹办建设，历经4年努力，于2008年9月，第一期工程基本竣工。第一期工程总投资为800多万元，主要建筑包括：仿古式校舍三院计131间，30000㎡。可容纳120人同时就餐的学院餐厅及食堂共10间。综合活动大楼一栋。学校配备中央空调一套，保证了取暖、制冷和热水的供应。学员宿舍为公寓式，内设卫生间，挂衣柜，课桌等。生活学习设施，两人一间，舒适宽敞。每个教室都配备了专用的电化教学设备。学院还配置有30多台电脑的微机室，藏书近5万册的图书室，乒乓球活动室，静功修炼室，早晚课的科仪堂。学院配备接送老师的轿车一部。武当山道教学院紧邻武当山第一大宫---净乐宫，为学员提供了学修结合的场所。
武当山道教协会目前已经在道教学院的旁边又征用土地37亩，拟修建学院二期工程，包括有教学楼、礼堂、教师公寓、音乐演奏厅、学术报告厅。征用土地手续已经完毕，拟定二2010年春季动工。二期工程结束后，武当山道教学院将建成一所规模齐全，设施完整，教学质量较高的国内外一流的道教院校，为培养合格的道教人才作出更大的贡献。
